Happiness is impermanent.
Possession of the desired ones
And praised performances
Are the ego’s past time, no more.

Ego thrives on unhappiness
And creates desires for more things.
Any worldly possession becomes
Dull and inspid after some time.

Ego is the cause of anger.
Hatred, jealousy and violence
Are the products of one’s ego
Negation of wants is happiness.
